L. Breanne Harrington, msw, lcswA
psychotherapist

Breanne Harrington is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate with a Master of Social Work degree from the Joint MSW program at N.C. A&T State University and UNC Greensboro. She is passionate about working with children, adults, and families to develop healthy patterns of communication, navigate life transitions, and improve social and emotional coping skills.
Breanne’s therapeutic style incorporates cognitive behavioral, existential, and mindfulness-based approaches to self-discovery and healing. She believes that the therapeutic relationship between the client and clinician should be collaborative, and that therapy is a safe place for people to feel heard and understood, and to experience positive growth and change. Breanne enjoys working with clients to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, develop healthy self-care practices, cope with transitions, and develop positive self-image.
In her spare time, Breanne enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering as a Guardian ad Litem, traveling, and reading. Her favorite authors include Zora Neale Hurston, Toni Morrison, Daniel Black, and Bernice L. McFadden. She also enjoys attending music and art festivals, exploring cultural museums, and relaxing at the beach.
