Crystal Grice is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education from UNC Greensboro. Through the Master’s program, Crystal obtained 2 years of training and experience in the areas of mental health, family/marriage, substance abuse, career, and group counseling.
Crystal’s interest in counseling became more apparent during her time working with victims and families affected by domestic violence. She understood the importance of addressing and advocating all needs (physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual) to obtain optimal living. Crystal provides support in areas including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, life transitions, families with special needs, depression, marital/couple counseling, and stress management. She incorporates Reality, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and person-centered counseling approaches as well as public health practices to support overall/holistic health and wellness.
When Crystal is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family which consists a great deal of watching Nick Jr. and Disney Jr. She strongly believes in committing to have at least one good laugh each day and finding joy in the present. She enjoys music and movies from various genres and eras (mostly 80’s), cooking/trying new recipes, and enjoying landscape scenery. Her favorite authors include Tony Evans, JD Robb, Janet Evanovich, and Sister Souljah.
