Dr. Nannette Funderburk is a psychotherapist and owner of The Social and Emotional Learning Group, PLLC, a counseling private practice in Greensboro, NC. In this role, Dr. Funderburk provides counseling and training to individuals, groups, and organizations. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor with degrees from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, North Carolina A&T, and North Carolina State University. Dr. Funderburk has worked with a variety of populations, and has spent several years working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced life adjustment issues, trauma, loss, abuse, low self-esteem, and more. She has experience as a clinician and specialization in cognitive behavioral therapy and emotional intelligence. Prior to starting her private practice, Dr. Funderburk spent time working as a contract therapist in other private practices as well as serving in counseling, advising, and teaching roles at Bennett College, Guilford Technical Community College, the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and North Carolina A&T State University. Dr. Funderburk assists individuals with overwhelming life problems, specifically emotional wellness problems, recognizing root emotions related to life issues, employing emotion management skills, responsible decision making skills, and interpersonal relationship skills.
