Tawana Prince is a NC Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate with a Certification in Thanatology (Grief Counseling). Tawana completed her Master of Science and Certification in New York State at the College of New Rochelle and her addiction studies also in New York State at the OTI Institute. 

Tawana has been working in this field for several years serving populations of various cultures and ethnicities, men, women, children, LGBTQIA, geriatrics, medically compromised, hospice, re-entry, family reunification and substance use.

​She utilizes varying interventions based off of necessity including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapies, Dialectical Behavior Therapies, Person Centered Approaches, Family Systems and Reality Therapies. But most importantly, factoring in the ability to meet people where they are in their stage of change by assisting with cognitive processing and behavior modification to generate an optimal quality of life.

In her free time, Tawana enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is a
warm, compassionate realistst who finds comfort in cooking and baking, singing and dancing
along with reading non-fictional literature.
